I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 that is SIM Locked to UK's 3 Network. I was able to root the phone and unlock it when I was running on Android Gingerbread, and worked well even after updating to ICS till a couple of days ago when it started asking for SIM unlock code.
I've tried reseting the phone to the factory definitions and reeintalling an unsecure kernel so I could run Busybox and the Samsung S Unlock apps that I've used the first time I've unlocked the phone. Even tried installing a diferent region Kernel but it just resulted in a number of crashing processes.
Also locked at this thread but I was unable to locate the nv_data-bin file on my phone even with android commander.
Can anyone give me some hints on how to unlock this phone?
Thank you in advance
PS: Kernel version is the XWLPT
