Ok, I promised to post how tests went later on, so here we go:
1. It appears that bank where I was that time was GPS-proof even when standing next to the window.
2. I left and I was shocked. 1-second fix in a bus into 10/10 just after that, and for a short time 11/11. In a moving bus, with accuracy 5-10m! The fix times weren't that bad, but they're just perfect now.
3. Indoor test - around 1m from window, with balconies outside (also above me): 4-second 3/3 fix. I say whaaat? Instead of pushing my phone against the window praying to find a lonely satelite, I'm getting close to instant fix.
4. Battery usage by Locale went down significantly. With better fix times, it requires less partial wakelock time to define location.
5. With so fast and reliable fix times, I can now use my phone GPS in emergency situations, which is great.
To sum it up:
Thank you, it works so great!
Now the only things remaining are finding "donate" and "thanks" buttons :]
Thanks for the info and I'm glad you're good to go!!!
