Which ODIN option should I use to flash the .tar file? BL, AP, CP, or CSC??

Also while I'm asking: how can I enter recovery mode?

Thanks!

UPDATE:
So I figured out that I need to use the AP option.
Sadly the flashing process fails.
Here the log:

I am pretty confident that I have completed all prior steps correctly. I enabled developer mode, set usb debugging to on, set oem unlock to on, unlocked the bootloader, booted the phone into download mode and started ODIN as an administrator.

Any ideas?

It's usually AP, AP=System/kernel/recovery etc. BL=Bootloader CP=Modem CSC=Service Code
Don't worry if you got it wrong, Odin will warn you and stop the process in most cases.
For the recovery, I don't think TWRP is out yet, but if you want to enter the factory rec, it should be same as enter twrp( hold down volume up or down + power button to boot up the phone, wait until you see the rec / download menu, then release all the buttons.)

just got the s20 ultra. had the LG v30 before this and I immediately rooted it (well I bricked it first but then I rooted it)
Had some issues with banking apps at the start but as Magisk updated it got more stable and I could use MagiskHide to access those apps no question. Nevertheless, I encountered bugs regardless of which ROM I was using (Random reboots, especially with Netflix, Crashes etc)
The main thing, however, was having a nice audio setup with V4A, maybe some performance mods, and AdAway.

Is there any point rooting the S20 ultra for me? I'm by no means a power user, all I really want is a nice audio setup and the sound isn't that bad out of the box.
Currently using a VPN to block ads and YouTube Vanced works on non-rooted devices.

Quick question if I may before I root my phone.
I'm on three UK branded firmware. Can I flash btu firmware with odin to remove three branding start up screens etc, then follow this tutorial?
Don't want to brick this phone, it's very nice!

Hi all.

I have rooted my phone.

All is good except the camera failing.
Is there an easy fix, or a file someone can upload?
I haven't ever patched anything with magisk before and would undoubtedly get it wrong!

Ok guys.

To fix the camera I basically got the AP file from my installed firmware. Opened it with 7zip and grabbed the boot.img. This I changer to a tar file with 7zip.
I patched it with my other phone in magisk, then simply flashed the patched tar file with odin in the AP slot.
Camera is now fine.
Thanks guys for all your help and info. It wasn't as hard as I thought!!!!!!
