Understood, but apparently a 'stock' kernel from this thread works wonders for people having issues with the camera.

The default kernel from that thread is AGNi kernel. (Btw. I use AGNi kernel on JB 4.3 and also don't have any camera issues.)

@djb77: can you help with my strange behaviour.
I tried your rom and wanted to revert to backup prepared minute before installing this rom.
My backuped rom is TGP 4.1.2, and I prepared custom backup with everything but efs and it always worked.
Now after wiping everyging and restoring my previous TGP 4.1.2 I cant boot.
Can connect through adb but only couple of dalvik-cache files are created and boot process hangs.

Did your rom changes bootloader ?

I managed to solve the problem, but format whole /data and /data/media was needed.

It doesn't change the bootloader, but the kernel is different from 4.1.2 to 4.3 and yet again to 4.4.2
Flash a 4.1.2 kernel and you'll be fine.

Where it said in 19.00 there was a "stock" kernel, this was a mistake. There is no stock 4.4.2 kernel

Updated the ROM to v19.01:

- Fixed FC with Maps
- Added Smart Scroll to QuickPanel Toggles
- Updated the following apps:
-- Dropbox 2.4.3.12

Is there a reason why youtube app isn't working with this ROM? It just keeps on loading. Every other app works just fine, even opening youtube via browser works fine as well.
