Use boeffla kernel then go to boeffla config / sound tab / headphones volume

As I understand it:

CM12.1 (this ROM) is the base of ArchiDroid (the one that's linked a post above)
ArchiDroid is better optimized and has more (options for) features compared to the CM12.1

Normally I'd always go for the barebone OS (more development invested in getting a smooth OS compared to focus on features), but the AROMA installer of ArchiDroid lets you choose the features and isn't as extensive as most "feature rich" ROMs out there.
ArchiDroid has it's own kernel, I don't know if it is delivered with the CM12.1 ROM.
Besides the ArchiDroid ROM is stable and smooth enough for me.
Also the option to set your DPI to 280 in the AROMA installer is a huge plus!

tnx u puppitz...

u can set lcd density in this rom, too...
for now i'll stick to this build with boeffla kernel everything is just smooth and fine... was using archidroid till this 3.1.4, dirty flashes caused some weird stuff.

Yes, Archikernel has boeffla sound. You should enable it with synapse app which is provided with the kernel.
