Just as I've noticed that volume + is one of the two options I can select... I've used volume + before and I initially thought it helped but I find the sound quality worse with it enabled.

One of my problems with the S3 is the sound quality, compared with the HTC One X I had, I find the output rather low... I've figured I will just up the volume now rather than distort it etc...

There are a few kernels floating around like those that are made by Franco and Siyah that address this. You can also look into this sound mod.

Hi mike,

All is well with 2.1.1.

The thing is I am getting slightly less battery time as compared to stock.

Is it normal ? I have done battery stats wipe at 100%.

How long have you been running the ROM? Best to leave it a few days and then see if it's the same...

I dont think the ODIN rom is necessary it just an easy way to flash roms for newer people as there is a less likely chance they will semi brick their phone.
