There are no CSC in this thread, only modem.

Baseband version will remain the same unless you flash a different modem (individually or with a firmware package).

Generally that would be the modem supplied by your network .
But their is no less draining modem .
Simple enough to try them all .

NELE4 does not work with with checkrom v3.5 or any of the latest Tom's. Any ideas? I can hear people talking but they can't hear me. Had to install lfb modem to get it working but that's giving me poor signal.

I believe modem UBLE6 found in post #2 (from firmware UBALE6)

Edit: if you have XX"B" ROM, the original modem may not work the best. You may need to flash other modem as noted in post #2. Try and find out.

If you have CM9 it will not working with it

Actually a lower Decibel (DBm) value is better. Since holding your phone slightly differently or putting it in a somewhat different position may result in somewhat different Decibel values (Reflections are really something special...) while not affecting data throughput at all.
