Hi sir,
i'm currently using dxlf3, before (on my previous phones) i have been using this menu (*#301279#) but with my galaxy s3 i cant us it anymore... is there like an alternative for this said option. because the country that i am in, 3g connection doesnt seem to be one of our best buds. so with the auto switch it mostly favor utms but whenever it's connected to hsdpa or hspa+ streaming has never been that good...

so i plea to anybody who can give us an update about the code... id greatly appreciate it. i'm not that techy i just learned if from a dude in the samsung service center in our country. they doesnt seem to know what the deal is with ics

What you wanna do?
Disable HSPA but leave 3G on?
*#197328640# => DEBUG SCREEN => PHONE CONTROL => NAS CONTROL => RCC(HSPA)CONTROL => CHANGE REVISION

Id like the other way around. I was able to get into the service mode. But still it kicks to 3g. I chose release 5. But when i see the select display revision, hsdpa "0" hsupa "0". The thing that i wanted to do is
Disable 3g(umts)
Leave open hsdpa

Thanks!

I cant make a screenshot using my daughters phone. On hers there is an option to turn on/off hsdpa and hsupa. Using 301279 i also used that code before with no luck. Here is screenshot of what always happens when i do it. And when you check the status of it. Both shows value of 0

I have also found on other samsung devices that u can run the same commands via shell by doing an

am start -n com.samsung.ServiceModeApp/.PlaceActivityorclasshere

it works a lot to access things that may be hidden and the dialer doesn't necessarily have access to due to permissions to run
