Will we get the settings app in conjunction with the beta release? Or will there be yet more testing needed before that?

Swyped from my Galaxy S3
Hi JKay. I have noticed one thing. If I swipe down the notification bar on the right side where I get to the toggles I have a bar with some apps like dialer, messageing,...
Lets say I have anonther dialer and another messageing app installed. If I click on the dialer I can choose wich dialer app I wanna use but if I click on the message icon the stock messageing app starts directly...even if I set the other messageing als default in the system settings.
Will we get the settings app in conjunction with the beta release? Or will there be yet more testing needed before that?

Thanks jkay.
Just willing to ask if it'll be a screenshot option in the power menu as it was in my beloved s2?

Maybe a little offtopic but for those who doesn't want the app menu when you plug the headphones(like me) just uninstall ContextAwareService.apk.
If you like to test this then install xxdlj5.
Just use the cache file (csc) from you xxdlj? together with xxdlj5. Works fine....
Otherwise you need to wait until final release.

I just disable audio applications in settings - accessory - headphones. Or is this something different you are talking about?
I think is the same thing. But i take every chance i got to remove some bloatware. :good:
Well.... ehm..... the idea is that you will be able to select what you want to see when you do a swype down from the top.. one setup when using it on the left side and another on the right side.
You can then do second swype down from the top to see everything. Works for both sides.
I just chose to hide the brightness slider so there was something to show. Checking that the second slide down really works.. hope it makes sense..

You've answered your own question there mate... It's not available for JB version - so basically "you can't"
Not yet anyway... It's nearly in beta so we might have a settings app to accompany it, it's just a waiting game at the moment
copy both LJ5 and e.g. LJ4 firmware on your SD-card
1. start mobile odin
2. Select the LJ5 file to "Open file..."
3. select the LJ4 file to "Cache"
4. and flash firmware ("Enable Everrot" should be selected and use the pro version of mobile odin)
Yes. That's done using Deluxe Settings.
When you long press any of the quick launch icons, Deluxe Settings will be started and you can change what to show the quick launch panel. Currently you can have 12 shortcuts and the 4 power buttons.

I feel the same, but by the same logic the systemui.apk would be bloatware as well

Sadly....if I long perss on a quick launch icon nothing happens...will I have to wait till DeluxeSettings is available ?
Thank you
Sorry to ask, but this port is not for 4.2.2 android version yet?
Thx
