ok, I start modified, I'll see what I can do, because I have only recently started to play with the modification application

That would be great, but no hurry or anything. I've gone back to the white version for now, the blue text REALLY annoyed me, lol.
I'm happy to test anything for u too. I'm doing a fair bit of work with VRThemes at the moment, but no good at app modification yet :)

Tested, I like ALMOST all of it, lol.
Likes:
Black colour.
White text.
REAL smileys, not the android things.

Dislikes:
App icon being blue, I like the green one (but can live with it)
Attachment, new message and search icons being blue, I think white would look better.
Return button changed to smiley button. Can't find setting to change it back.

Thank u so much for the work u have done, I do not expect u to change anything, I am just offering my opinion :)

I've just noticed something..having texts the same colour from the sending/receiving person makes a little confusing when you want to quickly scroll through your message history..is it possible to edit the colours? e.g. the sent txts are in white and the received texts are in blue?

There is two bugs on your new mms
I can draw a yellow line all over the screen.....
There isnt a photo of the contact when i write a new message just inside the conversation
There isnt quick reply and popup message

Try the one below.
He has just edited the colours to change them from white and blue, to just white, at my request, lol.

The yellow line is for gesture support, which works perfectly I may add, so this is not a bug.
And I have now tested and ur right, the quick reply thing isn't working on this build, gutting, this is a major feature I use all the time.

Wait im confused lol..so your saying all messages are shown in white in that version? lol i want the opposite of that..i want the txt colours from each sender to be different

Sorry i may be getting confused but could you upload a screen shot?

The v2 which u tried has all white text, the version I posted for u has white text from sender, blue text sent by u.

When I tap my own avatar I get a fc for Contacts, this isn't a big deal for me, I just won't press my own, lol.

    1. Make sure you have backup before flashing.
    2. Backup your sms/mms too.
    3. Clear Dalvik Cache before flashing.
    4. Restore your sms/mms after flashing.

    Here is the How-to in case you want to do this by yourself ;)

    You're going to need three files from the AOSP rom (They're provided):


    /system/app/MMS.apk
    /system/app/TelephonyProvider.apk
    /system/framework/mms-common.jar*


    *(the files we need may be in framework.jar if the rom you're using doesn't have this file)

    and two files from your TW rom(they're provided and from LLA Deodexed firmware):


    /system/app/SecTelephonyProvider.apk
    /system/framework/framework2.jar (make sure it's framework2.jar)


    • Now decompile everything except MMS.apk. That one's fine as is.
    • Now we're going to move some files around.
    • First is framework2.jar and mms-common.jar

    Delete /smali/com/google/android/mms in framework2.jar. Yes the entire folder.

    Now we're going to take the folder

    Code: 
    /smali/com/google/android/mms

    from mms-common.jar and copy/move it to the framework2.jar folder

    Code: 
    /smali/com/google/android/mms

    • Now is SecTelephonyProvider.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk

    Navigate to the following folder in TelephonyProvider.apk:

    Code: 
    smali\com\android\providers\telephony

    and copy the following files:

    Code: 
    MmsProvider.smali
MmsSmsDatabaseHelper$LowStorageMonitor.smali
MmsSmsDatabaseHelper.smali
MmsSmsProvider.smali
SmsProvider.smali

    Copy them to the following folder in SecTelephonyProvider.apk:

    Code: 
    smali\com\android\providers\telephony


    • Recompile framework2.jar and SecTelephonyProvider.apk.
    • Place MMS.apk and SecTelephony.apk in /system/app/
    • Place framework2.jar in /system/framework/
    • Delete SecMms.apk from /system/app/

    If you try to use Messaging at this point, it will probably open, but MMS won't work.

    Now the most important part!
    Note: This will delete all of you messages so make sure you back them up!!!!!!
    On your device, navigate to:

    Code: 
    /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/

    and delete the three files:

    Code: 
    mmssms.db
mmssms.db-shm
mmssms.db-wal

    Here is a flashable zip edited by me with dark theme for AOSP Mms.apk ported to TW.

    Please make backup of your sms because the zip completely erase and restore SMS application with SMS backup and restore. It worked for me 100%

    Tested and working on XXELLA, XXELLC, UBEMA1.
