User O-T recommended to use Open Camera to be able to record 720p videos.

The Problem is not 720p recording.
Camera freezes while shooting photos, that is the problem. I was testing some different camera apps, always the same promblem, its working slow or its freezing.

its possible to use camera drivers from stock rom?

Using the camera app, it hasn't frozen on me for a while now. I don't need to tap to focus before taking a shot either.

Yup. The only issue I have with the stock app is the 720p video but I can still use 1080p so it's fine.

I know it will still be a few months before we can expect a stable CM13 for our phones, but it looks like we already have a good starting point.

Problem with programatically creating a directory on the removeable sdcard
I am having a bit of a challenge having an application that I am developing create a directory on the removeable sdcard. What appears to be the standard method of doing this on many Samsung devices including the i9295,

File appDir = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().get Parent() + "/external_sd", "testFolder");

does not work at all on my i9295 running a recent nightly Jactivelte build. What did work was using the mount point from /proc/mounts,

/storage/sdcard1 fuse rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,noatime,user_id=1023,group_ id=1023,default_permissions,allow_other 0 0

directly to create a file on the removeable sdcard. While this,

File appDir = new File(/storage/sdcard1, "testFile");

does work, it is pretty crude.
Question: Does any one know if the reason that using ".getExternalStorageDirectory()" to create a file on the removeable sdcard not working is specific to CM builds?
