I've been using my S4 Mini since it was introduced. For the last year it was being used exclusively for accepting Square payments. Now the Square app doesn't work and Square says I need android 5.0 to run their app.
For the last few days I've been looking around trying to figure out if I should root the phone and install new mod or just move on.
Honestly I'm stuck on the model issue. Someone just posted a thread "Galaxy S4 Mini i9195i best Android version" and I've seen I9190, I9192, too. Mine is SCH-1435. One article said that some mods will brick certain models so proceed with excessive caution.
I've rooted before but it's been years, with that being my Samsung Epic 4G.
Can someone please help guide me with the S4 Mini?
