This is a combination of multiple guides that I used, writing down steps for the future as I went along. Process does entail a full wipe, so please backup beforehand.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Install Samsung USB Driver: http://developer.samsung.com/technic...o?v=T000000117

Downgrade from 5.0.1 to 4.4.2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2735172

1. Add ALL_VZW_I545VRUFNC5_I545VZWFNC5_1151670_REV06_user _low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 to AP in Odin 3.09
2. Add JFLTE_USA_VZW_16G.pit to PIT in Odin 3.09
3. Press start
4. Root using towelroot

Install Lollipop 5.0.1 - rooted and dedoxed
http://www.**********.com/install-lo...and-keep-root/

1. Install apps in 4.4.2:
a. Install FlashFire app from appstore (need to be join the Google+ group and use the same Google account to download from appstore.)
b. Install SuperSU app from appstore
1. Copy I545_OC1_Stock_DeOdexed_ROMwNK4_BL.zip to sdcard
2. Open FlashFire – partitioning took a long time; quit after an hour or so
a. Add the OC1 zip file in FlashFire
b. Uncheck Auto-mount
c. Uncheck all options under EverRoot, use Reboot settings
d. Tap lightning bolt and press ok to flash
i. Takes a while to reboot (around 30 minutes)
Install Xposed Framework
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...lipop-t3113463

1. After upgrading to 5.0.1, install FlashFire again – partitioning took 5 seconds
2. Install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
3. Flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430-arter97-V3.zip using FlashFire, same settings as above.
a. Optimizing app X of 238 popped up after reboot. Took around 20 minutes.
And that should be it. Hope it helps someone out there!

I didn't think this was possible? Or did you get to 5.0.1 using a ROM and not the OTA?

you're assuming correctly, you can't downgrade from oc1 to kitkat (unless you used muniz_ri's keeproot method)

Ah, I don't remember what I did to upgrade in the first place. I think like skepticmisfit suggested, I must have used the keeproot method.

I think you're right, I think I must have used the "Keep root" method from the link: w.**********.com/install-lollipop-on-verizon-galaxy-s4-and-keep-root/

You might want to clarify that in the first post, that way no one is confused.

if you upgraded with OTA 5.0.1 Lollipop will this method work.

My build

baseband version
i545vrugoc1

build number
lrx22c.i545vrugoc1

From my understanding this method will not allow me to downgrade at this time?

where did you get your framework from? arte97? is your phone sch-i545? or the 9500 model?

My cpu should be a arm7 according to my specs and use this file
xposed-v68-sdk21-arm.zip ? Please let me know if this is incorrect. The specs show arm7 32bit according to the spec sheet I found.

Well this partially worked. Got everything installed but when I goto xposed it says it is installed but not active. Not sure why. Myabe I need to flash the deodex you have listed here?

The only thing different I did was use the deodex'd rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...k-mdk-t3097902

Thank you so much for your tutorial. It helped me get through the day as I tried many different things and your solution did the trick.

edit - solution - http://www.4shared.com/postDownload/...30-alpha2.html - http://www.4shared.com/postDownload/...30-alpha2.html with the xposed version posted here. I'm up and running 100% now

if you got oc1 rooted, you will have to flash a deodexed ROM in order to get xposed working.
you could also try deodexing it yourself but.. don't overestimate yourself.

Just a heads up, your Xposed installer link is wrong. It leads to the uninstaller zip, and not the installer apk
