I have had a search and cannot find a solution to this, so I am asking the question here.
I am running Lineage OS 14.1 (latest nightly) on my S4 (jfltexx).
I have pulled the Official Samsung Email and Calendar apps from the S4 (Lollipop) and S7 Stock Firmware (Nougat) and tried to install - but I get the error 'This app isn't compatible with your phone.' I have also downloaded this from apkmirror and get the same result. I like the functionality of these apps and would like to continue using them over the Lineage OS Stock AOSP or any other 3rd part apps.
So is this supposed to work?, if not is it possible to spoof the S4 so that it appeared to be an S7 in Google Play and Samsung Store, so that official compatible apps could be downloaded and installed?
