[MOD/APP] Mod & Apps collection for S4 Lollipop (UPDT 22/02/15)

Hi at all :) I open this thread to "repair" what Samsung did not port/enable to our S4 in Lollipop (DON'T USE THIS MOD ON KITKAT!).
First post is for the apps and second for the mods/guide (things that don't need an apk).

Before start 3 important things:
1. If you're on odex rom remeber to delete both odex file in Arm folder
2. Permissions for apk and libs are the classic rw-r-r
3. Permissions for folders are rwx - rx -rx like this

Let's start:

    1. Put Touchwiz home apk in system/priv-app/TouchwizHome_K/. Then delete file in arm folder if you're on odex.
    2. Put Headline folder (permissions: rwx - rx -rx) in system/app. Then set correct permissions for Headline.apk (rw - r -r).
    3. Power off then reboot.

  5. S5 Gallery

    1. Put SecGallery2013 apk in system/priv-app/SecGallery2013/. Set correct permissions and delete file in arm folder if you're on odex.
    2. Put libs in system/lib (permissions rw-r-r).
    3. Reboot.

  6. S5 Lollipop Message App


    1. Put SecMmsCandy apk in system/priv-app/SecMms_Candy. Set correct permissions and delete file in arm folder if you're on odex.
    2. Reboot.

    1. Put SecContact apk in system/priv-app/SecContact(Phone_CHN if you're on a chinese based rom). Set correct permissions and delete file in arm folder if you're on odex.
    2. Reboot.

Mod & Apps:

  1. Enable Priority Sender in Message App

    1. With a Filemanager go to system/etc/
    2. Open floating_feature.xml
    3. Here search for:
    Code: 
    [I]<SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_MESSAGE_SUPPORT_PRIORITY_SENDER>FALSE</SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_MESSAGE_SUPPORT_PRIORITY_SENDER>[/I]
    4. Change from FALSE to TRUE
    5. Save and reboot


  2. Disable Heads Up

  3. Enable S5 Pop-up Incoming Call

  4. Enable Theme Support

  6. Enable Toolbox and SideKey

    1. With a File manager go to system/etc/
    2. Here open floating_feature.xml
    3. Find SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_SETTINGS_DEFAULT_TOOLBOX
    4. Replace False with True
    5. Then follow this guide to enable SideKey and toggle on statusbar.

  7. Enable S5 Video App

    Yes it's strange but Samsung keep both apk for Video app (S4 and S5). Only things you've to do is delete SamsungVideo apk (even with titanium backup) and be sure that there is SecVideo apk and folder in priv-app.

Albe, are you planning a S4 Lollipop ROM based on the leak with all the ported S5 Lollipop stuff?

Of course. Already working on it. But not release until WiFi will work.

Yes 3 dot already enabled ;) upsm will work when officiale lolli will cane out. Don't want to loose time on frameworks For a ROM that didn't have WiFi working.

I'm using Galaxy S4 I9500. Support multi language good but icon looks black :(

Video app is csc dependent. You need to check a text file in csc\csc_content called enforceskippingpackage.txt and see if it's there you need to remove it but data needs to be wiped after this otherwise csc database would still be using previous version. If it's not in csc check etc folder with the same file name.

Send me framework-res and Generic.kl in system/usr/keylayout

Aldo that but with uninstall the SamsungVideo after reboot it automatically exchange to SecVideo
