Has SMS/MMS been fixed for G900P Sprint users yet ?

I've searched the entire thread. Is there a fix I have missed somewhere? I searched both "sms" and "sprint".

And now searched entire forums. Apparently some people are finding fixes that work for them which don't for others, hmm...

Edit: As of now I've added the LTE tile to the notifications quick settings, allowing switching between 3G and LTE when I need to text.

What do you mean LTE tile ? Also can you receive sms/MMS on LTE ? Or do you have to be on 3g to send and receive sms ?

Drag down the notification drawer, click the pencil, and add the LTE toggle in the subsequent quick settings edit mode.

The only issue is with sending SMS on LTE. There is no issue with receiving.

With the toggle it's actually not too much of a deal breaker, being around wifi whenever I never fast internet.

No BS sir, it works as it should for me, and i have tested it many times, and over a period of days.

Ok its good for you mate ;) u have the g-900f? I flashed clean twice & not working except in camera and gallery! sometimes all over for a few seconds....but then it hangs up ...with official LOS nightly it works - with RR 5.8.0 it also works .....

@hokiealumnus is it possible to get the kernel as a flashable zip? It would be awesome!

My God how good is this ROM! But.. I can't use it with Car audio. Streaming music is OK but I can't connect it with hands free calling. On my phone I have "no telephone" info on my car radio device. On stock everything worked. I'm using Galaxy S5 g900f and latest v2 build.

This ROM is absolutely amazing besides the SMS over LTE issue w/ Sprint. But that's an LOS issue for 7.x.x anyways so it's not like it's this ROMs fault. Stable as hell, extremely responsive and quick, and battery life is amazing.

    @hokiealumnus

It seems that crDroid 3.8.6 is around the corner.
Will you update once more, I guess for the last time or no chance at all?

Not going to happen; nougat is done.

Oreo is now the official build for Galaxy S5, thanks to @Brunowp8 for taking over development for this device!

With that, I will close this thread. Thanks to all the users that posted, helped and used crDroid nougat while I built it. :good:

    crDroid v3.8.4 is Up!

crDroid v3.8.4 for all klte variants is live and ready to go!

    Update to December security patch.
    Whatever else LOSS added.
No crDroid changes to my knowledge.

Note some devices have a bug where video recording errors when it tries to save 30fps video with Google Camera. 60fps with Google Camera seems ok and the included Snap Camera isn't affected. This post is a copy/paste. If your device is not capable of 60 fps, then obviously 60 fps won't work for you.

As always, download link & instructions are in the OP. Dirty flash should be fine, but remember to always clean flash before reporting any problems. Enjoy! :good:

3.8.2 is up for all klte variants**. You know the drill by now. Enjoy!

Changelog: LOS bits updated to yesterday. Contacts sync bug fixed!

    VARIANT NOTES
    • In the last version, kltevzw and klteusc were both unified with klte.
    • In this version kltespr has been unified into kltedv.

Hat tip to @Ibuprophen for saving me three builds now. :)

Regarding what @javelinanddart was saying (thanks for posting!) - our OTA will not be modified. I do NOT know whether you can dirty flash the unified versions over the individual versions and would recommend clean flash. If you do choose to do that, you do so at your own risk (and please report back).

OTA will not change from now on for kltevzw, klteusc, and kltespr. They will remain on their last build forever. Only newly uploaded versions will be updated in our OTA.
