What's working?
  • Please remember that Oreo is still a very new release of Android and may contain bugs which are probably going to be fixed in some weeks or even days by the LineageOS-team or even Google itself
  • Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • NFC
  • Fingerprint
  • Camera

Bugs and Problems...
  • Hardware-Codecs are not working, videos with high resolutions (from about 1080p+) may start to lag
  • Some videos with specific codecs can't be placed, fixing the previous bug should fix that one too

...and how to report them
  • Here on XDA...
    • If a app doesn't work, send a link to this app, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat
    • If a app crashed, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat
    • If there's another bug/problem/crash, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat
    • For any other thing, describe the problem as exact as possible and append a full logcat
  • or at our GitHub-bugtracker (preferred way)

Supported Devices
  • SM-G920F: Only permanently and completely supported device, because I don't own another one
  • SM-G925F: I can't guarantee full support, but because it's nearly the same as SM-G920F, it should work as fine as SM-G920F does
  • SM-G92[0/5]FD/I: Should be fully supported, but as I don't own these models, no full and guaranteed support
  • SM-G92[0/5]T/W8: Supported, but call audio is confirmed to be buggy
  • SM-G92[0/5]S/K/L: According to community supported, but a patched build is required: Post #230 (Build used: 6th September 2017); Tell me more to update this state
  • Any other SM-G92[0/5] model: Tell me, I'll add the current state
  • SM-G928x: Not supported, will probably never be

I'm currently building a multitarget-version which will support both Flat and Edge, will be uploaded in some minutes

Hey @lukasb06 are you moving on now from Android 7.1, or will builds still continue? It looks like Samsung will never release Android O for the S6 so will a lack of bootloader/modem not hurt Android 8.0?

Great work

Great work

No, N bootloader/modem work fine with Android O. I had to make some changes to the telephony-libraries, but it works fine, except the bugs Android has itself (like not showing the current operator although it has the name, it just doesn't show it)

And of course we'll continue publishing builds for N, at least once a month for the Monthly Security Updates

The brightness of the screen does not change.
No ability to turn on the screen after turning it off. Only reset helps.
No vibration.
The back button and menu does not work.
After dialing the number, the AOSP hangs.
Model G925F
