It's either an S8 issue or a port issue (likely the latter) as this bug happens in all the ports I've tested as well as different kernels.
These apps randomly get disabled and re-enabled, and when it happens, the icon disappears from my home page (and app drawer) and is restored in the app drawer, but not my home page.
I can see this happening from Play Store...

Please port camera processing from S8! IT WILL BE REALLY AWESOME! and modules are the same. Can you port sources from note 7fe, because of optimization and same soc. It will be better. As there is new S8 look, it probably should be better. Or definitely.

I've been trying to look at some motion pictures in my Samsung gallery, I always get the popup that Samsung Apexservice has ended.

Dude, this version is power consuming and resource eating. I think it's better to try to install 2.5.0.5 arise
Anybody using Nova launcher? Whenever I launch an app, the wallpaper kind of zooms in, but unless I am on the leftmost homescreen page, it zooms sideways and sometimes cuts off the wallpaper. Any way to avoid this? Not sure if it's a setting in Nova or the ROM but I couldn't find anything.
hey guys, i just flashed this rom and can anyone tell me how to remove the homebutton on the AOD.. on SAC23 port rom there was an option on AOD setting to display only the clock and no home button, but in this rom i cant seem to find a way to remove the home button icon on the AOD

For on screen buttons you should've disabled them in the aroma installer, but there's a line in the few posts above you that supposedly disables them, although I don't know if it works or if it's recommended to do it, you look more into it, to avoid bootloop and such problemsI am enjoying this rom quite a bit but have a question or two

Hey guys! You may ask yourself what this rom is about and what you can expect from it, so it's basically something similar to the SuperMan-Rom on the Galaxy S7/S7 edge, but based on the latest and greatest software of the s8+. I was able to make a full port of the s8 (with almost all libs being s8) and I also made a backport of the latest Mali GPU driver (if you install this rom, you will be one of the first to be have a ported Mali GPU!).
! It has many custom featuers, you will find it below in the feature list :thumbup:
As you maybe know I'm a little fanboy from samsung, means I really love the stock look of the UI and the rom will always be based on most recent version from samsung, current base used is G955FXXU1AQK7 (compatible with S7 and S7e)

So this rom should be installed by anyone loving to use a rom close to stock BUT with many mods inside aroma/rom control.

Due to the fact, that the S7/S7e models will receive the Android Oreo update with the same Samsung Experience UI 9.0 as the S8 and the N8, there is no need for this port anymore.
Samsung hasn't released any new January update for the S8, which means this rom also won't be updated anymore. I'll close the thread, however you can still answer in our own forum at GrifoDev (it's currently not reachable, will be up again soon).
For the future I suggest you to stick to the SuperMan-Rom, it will be updated to Oreo as soon as it's available officially (with source code and everything).

The time has come and I had the time to update the rom to the new base coming with some new features as well!
But first I'd like to give you all some informations about the rom in general, people are asking those things like all the time!
Q: Why I have a notification I should restart my phone?
A: Most likely you have choosen a wrong csc during installation, since the s8 samsung has included a check to determine whether the csc matchs the sim card or not. Solution is to flash the CSC Selection and choose the right csc!
Q: Is secure folder working per default in this rom?
A: I have stated several times that I'm not planning to add secure folder support back, samsung will always try to break all possibilities and it's just a cat and mouse game I will loose. For now there is a workaround how to get it to work!
Q: How can I get bixby voice working?
A: I suggest you to find help on our How to get bixby working guide. All guides here on xda have just being copied from us lol... And yes it also includes bixby in full screen!
Q: What about the note 8 and its apps??
A: Before someone asks about Note 8 features, as most of you already know me, I don't like to mix features between devices. That being said I will start working on a full note 8 rom IF I can get a note 8. Which means it will be again a rom compatible with N8, S8, S7. But till that happens (maybe in a few months) I am not interested in porting note 8 features to S8 roms (it's 99% the same thing). I hope you understand my point of view and can respect it, thank you all for this! However is someone want to try the note 8 apps out you can find it on this thread here!

So where is the download link of this release? You currently have 2 possibilities to download this release:
- First one would be to download like always via Android File Host (V1.3.0 release link).
- The second method is to download via our own servers without any restrictions, we may have to get more bandwith because if too many users begin to download the rom, it's veeeery slow in speed. You need to be signed and you can get the download link from here.
