This model breaks recording video. Record starts...but when u press stop video camera still going!
hopefully when the s9 is out someone can rip the real stereo files so we could flash them to our s8+ phones , duel sound is nice and better than a mono speaker but as the s9 is the first stereo s phone it would be great if its possable to get the real stereo sound.
Yeah I was trying to make it work on Pie (LineageOS 16) today but no luck. Magisk module does nothing, and manually placing the file in /system/etc results in sound not working at all.
Hopefully there will be a Pie update to this mod.

As all we know, our phone only has one speaker at the bottom,
So just like the rest of similar mod for other phone (ex : my Oneplus 3)
Here's the file mod you can use to make the earpiece (the one near your ear) of your phone to act as secondary speaker
Download attached file,
Place it in /system/etc and change permission to 644
Reboot
OR, download the ZIP file and flash via TWRP
For SYSTEMLESS METHOD, use Magisk version zip and install it through Magisk Manager
Try and report
If you need to adjust the gain yourself, find these lines in mixer_gains and adjust the 35 or 40 value to your liking :
