If it requires the modification of the boot.img, then no. Unless you're asking for a bootloop to happen

Based on stock yes, I already made 2 ROM's one based on latest 7.0 and one based on 7.1.1 from note 8 (buggy)

Based on aosp I dont think so for now, unlock the boot loader need a miracle or some magic.

They are stock with no modification. The note 8 rom still buggy I had fixed wifi, but the camera is broken and broke flashlight I think this will take time to fix, gps is not hard to fix and maybe more hidden bugs.

Slot need permissive domain and stock init has selinux mount issue so we need hacked one, Hashcode is helping me but we dont need to bother him as he busy in his life.

You could look into the f.i.s.h project also might help to boot custom boot.img and system.img there is a thread on xda about it.

Hi all, users with status "Not Installed"
I have rewrote the safestrap app, cleaned it up and implemented internal busybox. So busybox not needed anymore.
If you have this issue PM me with device model and firmware build id, I will sent you test build same as B2.

I have a boost mobile Samsung s8 running partycyborg's rooted rom. I was able to install this without any problems and I was really happy to see the TWRP interface again. As mentioned in an earlier post SD card not integrated yet and is much needed.
I made a backup anyway and had a need to actually restore using safestrap a couple of days after. Unfortunately the restore failed, (sorry didn't capture the error messages), and had to use odin, etc to get my phone to work.
Anyone have similar issues or does it seem like "operator error" to you? I would love to be able to use this recovery option but only if I can depend on it working reliably.
