The last 4 digits of the S/N on mine are: MCIS

so far I used the charger twice for two nights in a row since getting it.
The first night I put my S8 on the charger pad and let it charge overnight. The blue light came on and I went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and the light was green and the S8 was fully charged 100%. It was warm to the touch.

The second night I put my S8 on the charger pad and let it charge overnight. The blue light came on and I went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and the blue light was still on blue, the S8 said it was only 85% charged. It was very warm to the touch.

In both cases above, I had a clear Spigen Ultra Hybrid protective cover sleeve on the S8 which I also purchased from amazon.com.
So I don't know what happened the 2nd night charging that failed to charge it to 100% overnight.
I am thinking because I have the cover on the S8, it weakens the inductive charge magnetic field (for sure) but maybe the 2nd night I did not position the S8 properly over the charging pad coils.
I will give it another charge tonight and see if the wireless charger fails again or if it works 100%.
My guess and hope at this point is that I simply did not position the phone in a good inductive coupling position last night.
We'll see after a few more tries with the thin cover on my S8. If it still acts whacky, then I will try without the cover on my S8 and see how that goes.

Okay I just charged the S8 overnight on this charger again making sure I centered the S8 on the charging pad. The light lit up blue and I woke up in the middle of this night and the S8 was
fully charged 100%. The dock light was green. The S8 had about 27% battery when I started the charging at 12:30am, When I woke up in the middle of the night Ichecked it around 4am and it was already fully charged with green light on.
As far as I am concerned with this charger, it works just fine.

Could possibly be a fake one.

Does it work without problems and with a normal Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 wall adapter (not a original Samsung one)?

Thinking about getting the Anker mat my question is what power block are u using ?and do u have a case on the phone? The link in the post to order says u need to buy Anker fast charging 2.0 block for it to work fast charging.

It looks like it will work fine with any QuickCharge 2.0 compatible charger. I have two Anker mats - one is connected to an Auzest chrager, the other to an Aukey. Both mats fast charge faultlessly. I have a Nillkin Frosted case on the phone currently - which is about the same thickness as a Spigen Thin Fit - and it has no problems charging with the case on.

I have the Choetech T518 fast charger. It didn't work with the cord with it so I used a Samsung fast charger. Then it worked well I got the pause thing if I didn't place it just right. When it's working it doesn't even seem to fast charge even though it says it is. I think I had this issue with my S7 and really hasn't fast charged since maybe the S6. I try and throw it on the wireless charger on and off through the day. I don't like leaving my phone on it overnight.

8:32? Don't have time to watch that.

Surely there's a specific place where he tells the problem and solution.

Overall.... He had fake Chargers, cables and wall-plugs... He went into a store nearby and bought an original Samsung one and this one wirks without a problem.

To tell you the truth after watching that video, I don't see a difference in the fonts the guy keeps saying are different. I have the one that he says is the legitimate Samsung charger made in Vietnam and it works just fine. with my S8. The only obvious differences discernable that he shows is with the USB type C plug connector shape and the power supply adapter one made in Vietnam and one says made in China. If his assesment is true, the China made one is a pretty accurate looking knockoff.
