I think you've debloated chrome which was your default webview app. Try to install (or just enable and update) Android System WebView, or push back Chrome to system apps.

i tried chrome already but that wasn't it. i reflashed now to go with trial and error.
First attempt was just debloating the samsung apps and the problem occured again.
Second try was just debloating the google apps and the problem occured again.

I guess the Aroma dobloat doesn't work properly on my device somehow

What i see until now is Youtube, Tasker and the camera app affected

I used this tool many times on different devices (S10+, S8, A5 2017, A5 2016), debloating literally everything and never had this issues... Dunno why that happen to you.

Hi my device is S8+ and on pie right now
Try wiping the data and cache of the apps that are causing you issues
And also try to use custom rom like eclipse that's one of the best s8 roms I have used

Hi working on it as we speak here are the following updates
1. S10 android 10 adjustment
2. N10 android 10 adjustment
3. Adding S10 and N10 mount
4. Adding themes (if everyone wants tell me themes i'm adding up to 4 there will be 5 including this 4)
5. Removing contacts FC that user reported (and checking for more)

As for the S10 and N10 mount i will probably release a version that has S10 and N10 mounts for now and later will all the adjustments
The version that will have the mounts going to be shared in telegram group : https://t.me/AromaBasedDebloater
The adjustments hopefully will be done by the start of march if not sooner i'm busy in real life so trying to do my best
Also i know that S20 (here's the link https://www.tomsguide.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s20) going to be released soon i will also adjust it as well probably will be done with V12 by then

We've had Android 10 roll out on the Note 9 and the latest debloater I think was for Pie. Would the S10/N10 Q version work for us, too?

Since i was busy i didn't knew that Android 10 got released I will add it as well
I will adjust the debloater for S10 N10 and N9 as well an update will come soon busy in real life sorry for the delay
I was thinking also about adding themes but i need suggestions if there won't be any will keep it as it is

Yeah you're right about the Always On Display. I didn't noticed the clock issue right away !

Actually, all apps in the "debloat at you own risk" section aren't in the basic debloater. You could just add them but commented out no ?

Given that you delete apps, their compiled code in ART/Dalvik cache is useless.

I can add them and do # to prevent them from being deleted but then if someone going to mess with that issues going to happen

About the davik cache i basically removed the delete recursive cache and dalvik cache that's it if that's important for everyone i will add it back either way i will adjust S10 N10 and N9 android 10 and update

So, after running this I am unable to change the lock screen type - it just returns back to the menu after trying to change. By default it is on swipe, but I just want it turned off.

Any idea which package might have been related to this?

I went ahead and just restored to stock and started over. Didn't happen the second time so no telling what it ended up being.

Great tool, I emptied the S8 stock rom from all the junk it had on, no problem good developer.
I couldn't find only Samsung experience service in aroma, I had to use adb.

    I made 2 versions Aroma debloater and Basic debloater
    Aroma one has aroma ofc and you can choose whatever you want to debloat
    Basic one has no aroma since basic but you can easily edit what apps will be deleted through the script itself by putting # before delete commad i will explain

    Basic Debloater Explanation

    Here is what is written in the basic debloater now i will explain how to use basic and prevent apps from being deleted
    You will be able to see below that the aroma and basic both has explanations and titles to the apps like aroma does the only difference is that basic one doesn't have (Theme Store, Theme Center, Keyboard Changer + Extra Bloatware menu)

    How To Use Basic And Prevent Apps Deletion Before Using The Basic Debloater REVIEW IT
    ***Before you use the basic debloater make sure you check the script so you will know if you need to prevent certain apps from being deleted***
    Enter the basic debloater zip go to META-INF > com > google > android then you will see the updater-script file open with Notepad++ (what i always use) when you enter it there will be delete command lines in order to prevent apps from being deleted you need to put # before the command like so

    You will see the code like this

    Stopped Developing This Devices
    I stopped supporting this devices i added this devices because there was a good amount of people that wanted to use the debloater but now they aren't used by many people so stopped updating them.
    The debloater will still work on TabS3 Oreo and NFE N-P but i won't be updating it as of V11 Aroma and V4 Basic

    How To Use The Debloaters
    Simple Flash Them Through recovery and enjoy
    With aroma you can see choices AND with basic you need to see the script and see if there are apps you rather keep

    How To Debloat Using Aroma Deblaoter

    Make sure you are after clean install/flash of new rom after the first/initial setup install titainium backup app
    And delete 1-2 apps doesn't matter what apps you can delete any app you want (You can delete any app doesn't matter which app just to open the system to debloating so when you debloat using the script it will work 100%) after you do reboot make sure it's gone
    if it is gone means your system is open for debloating if not you need to clean flash again then do this process after you sure your system is open for debloating just flash the debloater you like and enjoy

    Going good there is a llot of changes coming i don't know when i will finish the debloater will try the best i can i did more then just adjusting and adding size to every option as said this is gonna BIG UPDATE and thanks to the testers that help me identify and check everything that can cause any issues or if something isn't right
    Either Way only left to do others group sizes after that small things to do and i'm done i just have stuff to do in real life so trying to use my free time to finish the debloater sorry for all of this big delay i always say it gonna be released more then a few times and wasn't able because of family stuff some when i am sure the release going to happen will update on XDA and on Telegram channel

    Btw guys since i am in a big delay as it is if you have any suggestions or anything you want me to add change or move or whatever to debloater tell me of course with all the details so i wouldn't need to ask for them later i will see if i can do anything about any request to make it best for everyone you can even pm me in telegram i will try to help or answer any of your questions suggestion

    Enjoy The New V11 and V4 tried my best on them did the best to make the Basic Debloater look like the Aroma Debloater (The only difference is that the basic one doesn't have the Keyboard Changer, Theme Store, Theme center, and Extra Menu)
