Hey guys, posting after a long time

I'm getting an s9 plus and wanted to figure out which stock rom had the best battery life on exyonos. I've had seen many threads that claim that Oreo is much better for battery life and people have also downgraded

Whilst other reddit threads claim Pie improved their battery life. Now I don't plan on rooting this phone, like my older phones, and I'm not sure if I want to upgrade to pie when I get the phone tommorow. What basically matters more than a few bells and whistles would be the best battery life

The topic seems a bit weird, did anyone have any concrete answers for this? Would appreciate the reply, have a good one mates

The phone is over 1 year old, so I think the battery review is biased between old battery and the ROM it self. But every ROM had it's own users that say it's best. Just tried each to fit your usage.

With Pie I never had battery life issues... now with Android 10 battery life sucks terrible on my S9 Plus Exynos version.
I've checked everything, and it's the OS...
I use XSG Pie ROM... Now that I'm on Android 10, I'll revert back to XSG Pie...
Not saying it's the best, but never had battery life issues
