[KERNEL][GT-S5282] [CM11] [SlimKat] Modified Kernel

hey buddy,
I have a question, I have rooted my phone it is running android version 4.1.2 and i want to overclock my phone. Can i use this kernel in my existing os version or i have to install cm11 and then overclock it. Please tell me in detail, i am new in rooting and flashing and all that. Please explain in as much detail as possible. Hope a response from you.

No, you need to install kitkat rom first
First install TWRP recovery, this allows you to flash zips freely
Then flash either CM11 or SlimKat (check the instructions and the bugs yourself in the link)

Flash this kernel and download an app that can change the cpu frequency and thats about it.

About android go, there's no current development for it but im not sure.

The link u provided is dead for CM11, can u provide me another working link? And one more thing, if i find this rom very buggy(or didnt like it) can i revert back to stock rom(provided by samsung)? Thanks

100% pure stock ROM from manufacturer (pick depend on ur region) (you're gonna have to flash this with odin, here's a tutorial for that)
or
Stock ROM deodexed and pre-rooted (same flashing procedure with cm11) (theres a bug in TWRP where you need to install the rom twice cause the first one will not take action, this bug only occurs when flashing modified STOCK roms)

This is weirD! While using any apps suddenly the screens goes black/white
And appears back when i click on the screen any where!
Like a certain part of app screen is visible.. Rest black/white
Can anyone Help Fixing it?

Whatsapp,Eleven music player,Es,App updater..

Try using default kernel again. RJinxed's kernel wasn't stable when I used it with cm11.

@LahKeda I kinda knew it was unstable, I'm just waiting for someone to point it out but no one did so I thought I was the only one having issues. Anyway try this I reverted back the voltages and all the cgroup configs EXCEPT:

CONFIG_CGROUP_SCHED

Because that is the one causing touchscreen freezes. Unfortunately, it's a shame cause it's the cgroup CPU controller and it's supposed to help manage CPU bandwidth.
