CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.*/
What's working
  • Everything

Known issues
  • Camcorder, although it works, it gets crashed after ending the recording (the recording is saved though). 3rd party apps should improve the situation

Screenshots

Install
  • This ROM is for Samsung Galaxy Star GT-S5280/2.
  • Wipe Data
  • Wipe cache
  • Flash ROM zip
  • Reboot
  • When ROM has booted, open File Manager, switch to Root Access Mode, and edit the following fields in build.prop to this:
    Code:
    dalvik.vm.heapsize=92m

I can not guarantee to help you at this time. Because I'm very busy right now. If I had time I would help you

Well, First of all Thank you for trying to build CM for this device, but I have a question Do we have full source of this mobile... What exactly is the problem with RIL, I remember Psychic Half saying that I was very hard to fix, I can, if you want, help you with it
And seriously very happy to see someone still working on this device

Problem with RIL is, radio (not your FM radio), gets turned off for unknown reason.
I have been experimenting with RIL a lot, and I have matched the series of events when RIL is connected while booting, and its pretty similar to stock, but at the end, stock wins, CM does not. Difference, in stock Radio is turned on, in CM turned off.
And I believe, the fix lies in Ramdisk level.

I have restarted this project, because recently a Spreadtrum device got CM11 with RIL fixed.

Now, all the previous works and fixes are not open sourced, so I had to start from scratch.

P.S - Good News is, this tree boots CM10.2 as well, if selinux is brought up properly, kitkat can be booted.

Thanx for the hard work. Well there might be a condition check in RIL part where you know it check for stock ROM things.. but thats just me speculating and you might have already checked that

Well thats great news but fixing RIL is very important for someone to use it as something of a daily driver..
btw is Wifi also dependent on FM Radio JK

Just a quick word
Brightness control has been fixed, and probably External SDCard too.

I am very busy atm, so able to give very little time to this.

Cheers,
