I have a oreo build done for specifically for lt02ltespr. I implemented most changes from serranotexx upstream. It was a pain but the ROM does boot. Just no WiFi, or camera. Bluetooth working. Trying to get the WiFi to work. Doing another build at the moment changing some java issues I had, maybe the WiFi will be fixed and I will do a upload for others here.

I can't get twrp built for the life of me lol. Maybe you can give me some tips? I have twrp source synced but I keep getting different errors even after modifications to my device tree to omni. I plan to make a new thread, and I will def give you some credit for twrp if you can either build it or help me. I can zip and send you my device/ vendor trees if needed as I excessively changed them to work with Oreo.

I managed to compile but the touch screen is inverted. Any clues how to fix. I tried all 3 different touch screen rotation flags for twrp.

Haha ya I already got that. Managed to build on omni source 7.1 but found out it don't support Oreo lol. So I am using the omni source 8.1 but running into issues because its buggy.

EDIT: Found the correct version that installed on my SM-T712T but....

Installed version that doesn't error. Only issue is it thinks it's Sprint. Had to enter my APN manually, modified build.prop and put instead of lt02ltespr -> lt02ltetmo everywhere, changed the "Sprint" to "T-Mobile" and it still reports it's Sprint (like on Speedtest.net) Am I roaming on Sprint network??? How can I lock it down to only T-Mobile and only roam if there is no T-Mobile network? Sometimes it starts turning on/off the cellular network and sometimes it says T-Mobile, sometiems Sprint, I have to enable and disable Airplane mode until it gets full signal bars, but it still reports as if it was Sprint. Any fix for this to make it T-Mobile?

Any fix for the SMS send when using T-Mobile? I can receive SMS/MMS and send MMS, but can't send SMS... :-/

You can enable in delevoper option and give root access either ADB and Apps or whatever you want

The Oreo 8.1 update works well with noted exception of camera and also for me, GPS. I flashed stock image first and established a GPS connection, then I updated to Oreo v.8.1 but still have no working GPS. Unlike Lineage 15.1, the SIM is active and I am able to connect to Sprint but not its 4G data network. I have FreedomPop SIM so I tried flashing the FreedomPop APN fix in recovery to no avail. (I've learned that Oreo 8.1 does not allow manually setting APN.)
