Hello frami2.
Reporting about GT-P6210 build:
Installed with TWRP twrp-3.0.2-0-p6210, in sequence, lineage-13.0-20171024-UNOFFICIAL-p6210.zip, BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip and open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20171118.zip.
Installation is fine (TWRP identifies GT-P6200 while installing).
Booting first time is slow but ok no errors, configured wifi ok, released developer options ok, optimized graphics ok
Performance is kind of slow but it is usable and similar with 6.0 CM/DU/Omni builds we had so far: maybe some little overclock and optimizations solves that as I am used to do with this tablet!

It is fantastic to see a precious software like this: running updated ROM with this marvellous historic tablet (I use it daily in my work so far)!

Congratullations Mr. frami2! Please give a look to my screens and let me know if you need me to test something else! I am wating for the next build to test!
Backed up this build for more testing.

Thanks again.

BUG report, see screens attached :
1- Can not install some APKs, while others install fine
2-Bluetooth does not activate

Hello,
because of the WPA2 KRACK I would now like to bring my GT-P6800 with 4.0.4 to a newer state - lineage-13.0-20171023-UNOFFICIAL-p6800
Since I have never done this and do not necessarily want to scrap the tab right away, is there any step by step instructions for this?

Please, thank you, best regards

Once the bluetooth issue is resolved, I would love to test this rom. I use a bluetooth keyboard with the tablet for school. Does anybody know if there is a work around?

Hi,

will check installing the apps your showed from Play Store. Regarding Bluetooth - this is a long story -
DanielHK did a lot of effort to support it in his older versions. I once tried to follow https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=2640723 for making bluetooth available in my rom. Finally, I was able to activate it at command line and to even scan for and find other devices. But I was not able to adopt the current LineageOS Bluetooth app to Bluez (the screens where you activate BT and scan for devices). This was done by DanielHK here: https://github.com/danielhk/android_...h/tree/cm-13.0 but there were too many incompatible changes in the app by Lineage since then. Tried some git merging but never reached a working version.
Once I have some time again to do some research here I will try again, but for now I deactivated bluetooth.

Hi mate, is this the first you're trying to flash custom ROM on any Android devices? If so, you have came to the right place!

You just follow the instruction below:
1. Backup your tablet, including photos, videos, music, document, etc.
2. Install TWRP for P6800 (there are plenty instructions in XDA forum).
3. Download the ROM in OP, GApps from OpenGapps (variant ARM 6.0 pico).
4. Copy them to your sdcard or internal memory.
5. Reboot into recovery mode (which is TWRP in this case).
6. Wipe /data, /system, two /cache partition (I personally prefer to wipe internal memory partition as well).
7. Install the ROM, then GApps.
8. Reboot and you're done.

Different flash process.
I could not get "lineage-13.0-20171023-UNOFFICIAL-p6810.zip" up and running. I read elsewhere:

"IF COMING FROM STOCK : Do NOT wipe anything, Flash the ROM directly, reboot recovery, then wipe data (factory reset), cache and dalvik, and then Re-Flash the ROM again."

This worked brilliantly, even though it goes against 99.9% of the ROM flashing instructions out there.

So, I flashed Lineage, booted to recovery to be sure, deleted cache, dalvik and did a factory reset, then booted to recovery again (to be sure, to be sure).

Flashed Lineage and GAPPS pico - perfect!

Hope this helps...or perhaps someone could explain why the wipe first method consistently failed with a variety of ROMs.

Hi, i finally come to try this rom. The first tests are promising. Seems to be stable and fast. Sad if it would not get any more updates.

I will use it to install just a Videoplayer and pdf reader. No mail, no chat no other stuff. For that I use my mobile phone instead.

So if the plan goes well it will 'only' be my media Tablett with a maximum of maybe 5 apps and as few background processes as possible. At least it is better than use it as paper weight...
