CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.

Untested build for the 10.5 (16 GB). This will cause your device to break, brick, catch on fire, reduce its life span. I recommend you dont use it. If anyone does happen to use it, let me know how it goes.

No boot on 10.5. I just get some garbled leters, then a black screen.

I would be willing to try this alpha build, but couldn't figure out how to install it.

My device is rooted, but I don't know how to install CWM recovery on it (ROM Manager doesn't recognise my device).

Also, why are there two different files for the build ?

It would be awesome if someone could post a foolproof step by step on how to install this ROM and et back to stock.

Thanks from advance and sorry for my newbyish questions, I just want to make sure not to break anything out of ignorance.

There is one for the 8.4 and one for 10.5. The 10.5 is not currently working

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough: I mean the two files provided in the first post. My understanding is the .zip would be the ROM itself, and the .img would be a custom CWM that I should use to install the ROM, is that correct ?

If it is, how should I proceed to install the .img file ?

Just a quick update. I have moved my development time to CM12.. Giving myself a little bit extra time this week to get something usable since my tablet is out of commission till I get it booting.

    Step one completed.

I have cm12 (lollipop) recovery building. Now to fix the rest.

Here is a very EARLY development build of cm12 (android 5.0.1 lollipop) for the t700. Wifi/Screen/Sound mostly work. Probably not a daily driver but if you must have lollipop today here it is. (Thank you to @crpalmer who greatly accelerated getting my cm12 port running)

Thank you to @UpInTheAir for fielding the support while I've been busy trying to learn how to raise a human. Thought I would have more free time then I ended up having (and a lot more sleep). The rom isn't abandoned just suspended while I try to establish a new routine at the house. Hoping to be able to get back to this soon. (Maybe even tonight on my way home on the train)

To those who hate this ROM, feel free to use that door over to the left. :)

    manifest.xml for cm11 with hwcomposer 1.3
