Scrolling smoothness

Some phones exhibit choppy scrolling, especially when navigating long web pages when multiple apps are running in the background. Rate this thread to express how you smooth scrolling feels on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 under such conditions. A higher rating indicates that scrolling is always buttery smooth, even when you're reading a 10,000 word article on "how to kiss a girl".

My one disappointment with this tablet is that it still has uneven(jello)scrolling in prortrait mode, but I just tested a new Ipad 11 pro as well and they have it too(tho not as bad).

I think all devices seem to have it to some extent , especially tablets, either in portrait of landscape. Surprised iPad pro had it, thought the fast refresh rate might make it better

yes it's crappy video chips, they render one direction natively and are slower than death rendering the other direction.

One thing injust realized is that the jello scroll is all but gone if you use samsung internet. Compared with chrome its night and day

I can see it on anything if I scroll and look out for it

yes I agree but it is significantly reduced in the samsung browser vs anything from google.
