Got a Gear Live!

Hey guys! I've got a few questions about this watch.
1) I have an iPhone. Can I side load apps like Google Maps, Sleep as Android, etc. with a computer?
2) I bought it on eBay and its the debug refurbished one. Whats the best tutorial for someone who hasn't used ADB recently?
3) Do I need a screen protector?
4) Did the battery life improve at all?
5) Can I use wifi even though its an iPhone?

1. Install android wear from app store and see what you get
2. There are a few threads here. I suggest read up on them. Use gear live restore tool v2

4. I generally get 2 days. Slightly more than when it was originally released

Now that I've been using it, is it normal to drain 50% in 2 hours when connected to my phone? I used Gear Live restore tool, then I updated it to 5.1.1.
Do I need to calibrate the battery?
