As far I know searching anything on XDA is a torture for me. This forum's layout is terrible. For example:
How can I get to modifications of Xperia e4 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/ without searching? Why there is no division like this:

It is so hard to find anything on this forum.

For god sake this is how this forum should look like:

It's incredibly simple to jump to a particular forum.

See that search box up in the top right hand corner:

Type xperia e4 and click on the Sony Xperia E4 link that appears. It's really not too difficult.

And the forums are actually laid out in the structure similar to what you "suggested".

https://forum.xda-developers.com/all

But I don't think it's the default view, because it's such a massive list of devices, it can slow the page loading down. And no one needs direct access to a full list of every forum we have all at once. That's what the search bar up top is for.

EDIT: As it turns out, we don't actually have a dedicated set of forums for the Xperia E4, as it's not a common device, or doesn't have much activity on the forums. What that link takes you to is a collection of threads tagged with the Xperia E4 tag. So you probably won't find as much as you were hoping for possibly.

Awesome! I somehow missed that there is an overall overview. This is great, since I love to just scroll and see what subforums are there to discover!

Happy to help

Yes, we've collected quite a number of devices forums over the years!

"XDA Is the worst designed forum ever"

I think you can also remove the word "designed". Worst forum in general. And no, i will not answer why. Will not give answers, same as the forum...

And it makes 2 Posts with 1 request. Cheap.

Hi,

Not trying to answer or ask why you are saying this. I could see that you had created few threads and all these are answered by volunteers, some chose to and some doesn't want to respond. This normally happens when the device isn't popular and the users who commonly browse this forum doesn't have that device to respond.

Regarding double post you would need to wait for a while refresh to see if the first post went through before hitting submit again to avoid duplicated post.

Thanks
SacredDeviL666.

At some level, the security of keeping up with this old vBulletin 3 forum just doesnt make sense.

Its going to be painful, but Xenforo is the way to go.

vB5 never worked out.

I'm just a simple moderator but as far as I know Xenforo is the way our administrators currently go. Don't know how far it is but we all wait eagerly. I just like to ask you to still have a bit patience.

EDIT: @osirisjem Please see this post below.

Yes, we are in the midst of a redesign and move to XenForo. Please be patient. There aren't many forums in the world with the number of forums, nor number of members we have, so designing that is a challenge.
