The very nice HR wrist band has a new 2nd generation.
MiBand 2 has been announce on 2june2016. And will be starting to sale on 7June.
Pricing: RMB149 / USD$23 (@6.5 Rate)

The MiBand1S was a pretty competitive price that comes with a Optical HeartRate Sensor which are similar to other sports wrist band.

With an OLED display, shows:
-time, stepcount, heartrate
-sleep check, call alert, screen unlock
-vibration alarm
-epayment (not availibale outside china)
20days of battery capacity, IP67 water resistant(bath capable)

Got my MiBand2 today




MiFit v2.1.5
A list of sport apps that will work on continous heart rate monitor.

endomondo HR (v16.3) / YES
runtastic HR (v6.8) / YES

By using a 3rd party app 'Mi HeartRate v6.4' found in playstore

Strava v4.20 / NO




-USD$25/RMB169(@rate 6.6 USD/RMB, process take 14days)

-dimension bigger than M1S

-choice to display selected information

-OLED display looks good. Doesnt shine your eyes in darkness area.

-pairing has no issues at all







Tested on xiaomi note pro

android 5.1.1 / miui 6.1.7 rooted developer ver)

I have it one week now and it works very well. Battery at 90%!

The only issue is that I can't unlock the phone using it (miui rom)

i left the mi Band 2 idle ona desk for 1 day. the display doesnt lit up anymore. Can anyone help ?

try short the charging pin with a paper clips or any metals. then plug into the charger.

did u able to search it in the bluetooth device?

Yes, I can search and connect using Bluetooth. This method of shorting pins didn't work. Need some more ideas.

did u submerge it into water? or u did take it to swim or dive/snokering?

did u get an batt icon on OLED when charging?

some reports in xiaomi forum, their mib1s/mib2 goes bad after swimming.

MiBand2 has a waterproof/dustproof rating of ip67 only.
