Hi, I just got the ZTE Nubia Z17 Lite in Blue from Geekbuying and want to share my personal review and experience. I'm currently using this phone on my job as a work phone.

Battery life: 1-1½ day is no problem with normal usage
AnTuTu points: 82564
User Interface is: Fast 10/10
Scratch-proof: front yes / back it's metal so no
Metal frame: Yes and rounded
Sensors: Gyroscope / Compass / Light / Proximity Sensor
Notification LED: Yes (only red)
Multitouch points: 10
LTE Band 20: No (still I got 4G in some areas)
Fingerprint Sensor: Good but not the fastest
3.5mm headphone jack: No
USB On The Go: Yes
SIM Tray: 2xNano (Support for microSD card: No!)
3D Games: Asphalt 8 runs SUPER in high settings
GPS: The accuracy could be better - 8 meters
Display: Very good, in Full HD
Cameras: 13+13MP Sony IMX258 (Rear) + 16MP Samsung (Front)

The phone has a Sony IMX dual camera setup, and for the price it shoots some very decent pictures.

Original hi-res camera samples can be downloaded here:

My full video review of the Z17 Lite
Pros | Positives
+ Nice thin Unibody design on 7.6mm
+ Very nice bright/vivid display, thin side bezels
+ 3D games run very smooth and fast
+ Built-in Notification LED
+ Fingerprint sensor is accurate
+ Good bottom speaker / DTS Sound Enhancement
+ Gyroscope (for VR) and compass sensors are fast
+ Android 7.1.1 with app shortcuts + OTA support
+ Good cameras with a nice Bokeh mode and 4K
+ Good battery life (Quick Charge 3.0 supported)
+ Supports WiFi Calling, NFC and HD Voice

Cons | Negatives
- No LTE Band 20 (I instead get H+ and HD Voice)
- No built-in 3.5mm headphone jack
- No support for a microSD card
- Nubia UI 5.0 skin on top, so not stock Android 7.1.1
- Fingerprint scanner could wake and unlock faster
- GPS accuracy could be better (8 meter when best)

Bugs found
- If volume is turned all down, phone will still vibrate for notifications, even when Vibrate is turned off in the phone sound settings.

Have you noticed any random reboots with this phone? I have one, and on a couple of occasions it has rebooted multiple times.

As per Gsmarena, sim slot 2 doubles as a SD card slot. Have you tried it?

There is no way you can fit a microSD card into the nano tray, the microSD card is way bigger than a nano SIM.
The X17 Lite does NOT support any microSD card!

No it doesn't - You don't seem to know how the SIM tray looks! See post #9 there is no way you can insert a microSD card into the tray! So please stop that nonsens! unless you have the phone in your hand - EOD.

Zte z17 lite Accessories
Does the z17 lite takes all the cases and screen protectors for Zte z17 version? Or there is a slight difference that makes cases doesn't suits both devices?
Thank you
