I feel like, cheaper phones get more ads on youtube.
I've never seen 2 ads before a video before trying youtube on nokia 5.1+
Meanwhile, same ID on nokia 8.1 gets non-noticeable ads

Youtube tracks that which video is being watched for how much duration and in which location so it will place an ad according to that location and timings. For example, if your channel is mostly watched in any one of regional languages so, it will put an advertisement relatable to that region based products or something related to that region. I never depend on a phone model. It's a certain myth.

That can't be true ads are targeted based on the user interest mostly not based the devices. Yeh, some do target iPhone user and android user alone but in android ads are targeted commonly for all devices.

It seems, since the cheaper phone was rarely used, it was the case, but eversince I've been using it regularly, the ad frequency is dropping
