Hi guys,

I have an Essential Phone that I had let it run an OTA update. I wasn't thinking clearly and haven't really had a backup. I have some stuff I really would like to backup.. I've learned my lesson I promise.

I was on OS PH1-OTA-PQ1A.190105.112 and it ran OTA like normal, but this time, when it restarted, it stated that data was corrupted and to wipe in order to get it to boot.

I attempted to download an OTA image and side load with ADB through recovery but I get the error:
serving: '' (~0%) adb: failed to read command: No Error

Prior to this have never ran anything ADB on this phone.

The phone would actually say it is verifying the image.. but from the PC you can tell that it has already failed.

Note: Phone is completely stock except for joining the Essential beta program.
I have tried posting to the Essential forum but have gotten 0 replies in a bit under 2 weeks. Would be grateful for any help!

Thank you,
