Yes if you have root.Is there a way to automate starting the head unit server when Bluetooth connects to the car? Tasker or Automate app or anything? If not, does having the Head Unit Server running use up cpu resources if the phone?

Did you try and reinstall the app after uninstalling? Also when you say updated os did you mean from oreo to pie or a monthly update?Hey Emil,
Reinstalled app last night and had gotten everything working. This morning I found my phone updated it's OS last night now the app crashes AA on initial launch then it no longer even try's to launch. If I uninstall OBD2AA app AA launches just fine and everything functions as normal. Debug inbound.
Hey, Emil! I love the app and really appreciate all of the hard work you're putting into it!
That being said, has anybody had an issue with voice commands? If I try to use voice commands, or just talk to Google Assistant at all, the app freezes and I have to unplug and restart it.

Posting some of this info might help others help you. I know Emil is busy the next couple weeks. Maybe we can be of some help.

Got the logs, looks like for some reason you have the AA to reject new cars or the car is marked as rejected which makes it stop working. I've emailed you steps to potentially solve the problem.

Nope shouldn't interfere with them at all. However try disabling the 6 tap limit remover option in obd2aa settings and see if ti helps.
