First, I want to thank chainfire, for all those wonderful contributions to our community.
Second, I have troubles in using Mobile Odin Pro and/or FlashFire for updating my Samsung Galaxy Note3 with stock FOTA update.zip....
Device is kept as stock as possible...
Model: SM-N9005
AP: N9005XXUENB7
CP: N9005XXUENB1
CSC: N9005DBTENB2
with...
Android version: 4.4.2
Kernel version: 3.4.0-636608 dpi@SWDD5614 #1 Thu Feb 27 19:59:01 KST 2014
Build number: KOT49H.N9005XXUENB7
SE for Android status: Enforcing SEPF_SM-N9005_4.4.2_0013
Security software version: MDF v1.0 Release 2
rooted on/by...
Recovery: stock
Method: towelroot v3 - app by geohot
App: SuperSu Pro V2.46 - app by chainfire
And finally ODIN MODE reads...
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N9005
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Offical
SYSTEM STATUS: Offical
REACTIVATION LOCK(KK): OFF
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S2, T2, R2, A3, P2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
Problem: FOTA (update.zip see below) does break around 20-30% (maybe anybody got a hint where to learn about those fragmented booting/updating processes signed/unsigned android seems to use?)
So I thought using Mobile Odin Pro for updating first, manually. It did not work, complaining about zip-file has not to contain partitioning and following unzip sugesstion does break back to main menu, also manual unzip of file fails... Looking around I found FlashFire... After wondering why it complains SuperSu was not there or older than V2.40 and finding out that it is unable to see SuperSu unless it is enabled (more strange non *xish or bsdlike behavior), it crashes on behalf adding the update.zip (logcat in catlog.txt format below although verbose logged seems no use, unless further code knowledge maybe).
Aim: Updating as far as possible, while keeping as stock as possible with knox 0x0, with mobile odin or flashfire, as many times reported positive using odin and older kernel version and towelroot, just want to stay 'untethered'!
Any help/explanations appreciated and thanked for in advance...
