What is a LogCat?

What is it supposed to do?
It will help to solve your questions, if your asked for a LogCat it is always useful.
How can I get a LogCat?
Prerequisites:
Code:
Linux, Windows or Mac
USB cable for your device
Android Device
Instructions:
Code:
Install your device driver for using adb. Everything you need will you find here
Download adb executable for your OS (Download: Windows | Linux | Mac). Paste it somewhere.
Connect your android device.
Verify if "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging" is checked, if not, simply check it.
Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.

I was just looking for a new ROM to try. Nice presentation! Flashing.
(screenshot links don't work btw)
I'm most curious how it performs and what's the battery life and if it'll outperform Dark Rom :fingers-crossed:

ROM runs buttery smooth! A perfect daily driver. Will test battery for few days.
Couldn't find a way to remove carrier label on lockscreen and adjust navbar height, also slide on statusbar for brightness is missing - would love to see that in the next update. A minor bug - cogwheel (settings) is missing when sliding once from statusbar. Can't make it appear with the build in option.
Keep up the great work!

Hi ,

Ther is a workaround for the viper issue.I have to install the SELINUX changer and busybox .Also the viper4andrd guiterhead has to be flashed via twrp at first itself and then make suitable changes. This helps as of now.Issue is SELinux becomes permissive. Some oreo roms like AOSIP has made sm changes that allows to run viper out of the box on SELINUX enforcing.

A new problem is noticed is after long sleep times the screen turns black wen u switch it on and faces some lag to swipe it open.remeber seeing it in some nougat roms wen they were first launched for nexus 5.

People who has troubles adding or editing tiles on QS, go to Developer Options -> Force Theme Enable. Enable it and you won't have problems

I was just about to report this bug.
When Substratum is installed - the battery QS tile disappears and when you attempt to edit QS - system UI crashes.
Enabling Force Theme Enable DOES NOT fix this issue!
