From other POV though - this is the one and only ROM from all KK 4.4.4 there without dramatic battery drying.
Slim ROM: Attachment 3148851 ...and Carbon ROM: Attachment 3148852
Please do not leave this ROM development, macs18max and -pixelfreak-! At least catch and repair FC mentioned!

The issue of battery drain in is the kernel. if you use slimroms kernel in carbon rom battery drain would be as better as slimrom
My laptop crashed and I lost all code for the kernel used in slim.
Now I cant figure what was done.

I want to know something. on slimrom once the device is suspended (sleep), and if you connect the usb cable does it the device wake up and start charges, or does it continue to sleep without charging?

Thanks Robbie.
Looking at the dmsg, It seems like the device still doesnt sleep/suspend with wifi ON.
However, If the battery drain is minimal with wifi ON/and no sleep, than there is no issue I guess.

Could someone do some test for me for slim roms.

Leave wifi ON with sim for 8hours send dmesg and battery stats.

Leave wifi OFF with sim data enabled and send dmesg and battery stats.

Not sure if this helps, have attached dmesg. it is not 8 hours, and am not sure when I restarted. been using this rom today for work, had to restart it a couple of times. no battery stats, sorry.

I had wifi on yesterday, then switched it off last night. Could not get a dmesg (was empty from magldr "dmesg to SD", happens sometimes), should have got it from terminal before switching off. /proc/last_kmesg doesn't exist. Sorry.
Have attached battery stats though, and oddly it shows wifi as still on, but it was definitely switched off last night and is still off. Am using extended battery BTW.
Have also attached a quick dmesg after rebooting and running for a few minutes, not sure if it sleeps. will post another one later

Edit; so after a couple of hours the wifi seems to have switched off after the last reboot. have attached another screen of battery stats and another dmesg. I will have to leave it for a bit longer to see battery drain a bit clearer.
looking at the first screenshot, there does seem to be a greater consumption since wifi switch off last night, greater slope of line. But it could be because wifi did not switch off fully as stats show.

Edit 2; ok I left wifi off for a few hours then switched it on again for a few hours. Attached screen and dmesg.
