So I was thinking. One of the most universal ways to root an android device is to flash the SuperSU zip with twrp. Since you don't actually need to be rooted to install twrp, I was wondering how possible it is to root the fire HD 8 (5th gen ) with this method. How feasible is this ? Am I missing something ? A little help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nevermind.....
Just found out you need an unlocked bootloader for that which isn't possible. Any other suggestions though ?

Nope, I 'll leave for vacations next week and don't wanna risk messing around with warranty's delays. Let me know with your results if you try it out.

You'll kill yourself trying. Trust me, I speak from experience. I've been trying for months now.
