Installing P8Lite ROMs on HONOR 4C

after flashing the mod rom

Might be issue with just flash b596 build it will solve the issue.

But before flashing wipe all partitions in twrp.

LineageOS 14.1 or RROS v5.8.3 is good but you need to install b896/5 before installing this rom.

Among the available LOS is good event though it has bugs.
Do remember all roms have bugs and none are perfect.

AFAIR it does support it but quite not sure. Its been long back I used that ROM.

Got a problem. After installing Stock B896 I made a TWPR backup. When I restored that backup it removed TWRP, and won't let me flash it again. Fastboot says it's unlocked and adb detects it, but when I try to flash anything I get "unknown error". When I try to install B896 through the stock recovery it says it's incompatible. Same thing for the rollback packages I tried, but maybe I just didn't find the right one?

I can't root ALE-B896 it's always have an error no boot.img stock in recovery and TWRP gone

Successully flashed P8lite B602 stock rom. I disabled nav bar in build.prop, but bottom icons are still too high.

Oohooo! I booted Lineage finally and hopefully succesfully.
I downloaded stock MM ROM (B560) for 4c, extracted recovery.img, flashed stock recovery and installed the stock rom (update.app) through the proces with vol +, vol - and pwr button. Then flashed B896, then LOS and no problems, I'm in.

I figured out why my phone was being detected but not able to flash anything. The cable had a bent pin that wasn't making consistent contact. Got a new one and flashed twrp no problem. But most ROMs never get past the boot animation. At first I thought it was a version issue because it only happened on N, MM ROMs like xdaforums.com/p8lite/development/rom-slimrom-mm-6-0-huawei-p8-lite-ale-t3647315 work. But I did some more testing and Honor 4X ROMs like xdaforums.com/honor-4x/development/aex-v4-6-honor-4x-che2-l11-kirin-620-t3755942 work (without wifi/cell signal because of hardware differences), as does gizrom.com/lineage-os-14-1-p8-lite-honor-4c-honor-4x-model (with terrible performance).
Is it possible to port the P8Lite wireless drivers to a 4X ROM or something?

B530 to LOS 14.1

I have an Honor 4C MM with build CHM-U01C675B530 with unlocked bootloader and not rooted. I took full backup, wiped everything except sdcard and tried flashing B895 via TWRP 3.1.1 which failed with unknown error and the mobile rebooted automatically. I had to reflash stock MM recovery and go back to MM build via force method on stock recovery to get it to boot to system. Flashed TWRP again and got restored nandroid backup.

I again tried flashing B596 using TWRP which again failed after writing radio and had follow the above procedure again to go back to MM.

Can somebody please help me out here to get LOS 14.1 running on my handset.
