Do I get these 3 zip files needed with firmware finder?
On oreo whatsapp notification only works randomly and tasker wakelocks are broken by the system. I must go down to Nougat. Have your latest twrp installed. Help appreciated

PS Your device is bricked if you have error 2 and error 11 when trying to boot. It is not also a problem if you can still reach erecovery.

Hey there!

I'm having those same errors (2 and 11) or (2 and 10) after unistalling SuperSU via app. I've ran the "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp.img" using the latest @zxz0O0 release, with sucess, but I can't load recovery.
I can also reach eRecovery but it doesn't download anything ...

EDIT:
Before the brick i had : b360, Bootloader unlocked, FRP Unlock.

Any advice ?

Thanks in advance !

You need to flash stock ramdisk, uninstalling SuperSU via the app doesn't work because it never restores original boot.img so it bricks the device.

HuRUpdater
Huawei Recovery Updater

  • Flash official firmware zip files
  • Can detect if firmware locks bootloader
  • Can detect if firmware wipes data

Download:
It's recommended to use a proper custom recovery (with running oeminfo_nvm_server service) like for example my version of TWRP.

How to use:
Warning: Make sure you know what you are doing and do not flash firmware from other devices.
  1. Download firmware files (for official firmware use Huawei Firmware Finder).
  2. Put files you want to flash in a seperate folder on sdcard.
Supported zip files to flash are (name must match):
    • update.zip (use FullOTA file)
    • update_full_hw.zip
    • update_data_full_public.zip
  3. Optional: Put recovery.img in same folder if you want to keep custom recovery.
  4. Put HuRUpdater zip in same folder. Example:
  5. Select only HuRUpdater to flash in custom recovery.
  6. Follow instructions on screen. Flashing can take multiple minutes.

Problems:
  • If firmware includes factory reset
    • Factory reset is not supported by custom recovery. Therefore HuRUpdater will flash stock recovery before launching factory reset. After flashing firmware and doing factory reset, you need to flash recovery manually.

Supported devices:
  • Honor 9
  • Other Huawei/Honor? Try and let me know

Bugreport:
Post full /tmp/recovery.log file in comments

No you must install twrp 3.2.1 given here the link
Download flash with fastboot
Put together in same folder guru updater and the 3 firmware files {you can download them in firmware finder app for Windows}
Boot into twrp and flash just huru updater and let the show begin

And also do not forget to wipe out everything before you begin even system in the wipe menu in twrp

You don't have to wipe anything, just follow the instructions stated on OP and it will do its job.
This is not like installing Treble roms, you don't have to factory reset. If it's needed, the tool will do it by itself
