Run the RUU on your phone after the firmware is flashed and voila

Worked perfect, extra thanks for you. Now I know!

Updated to Oreo :)
I was eager to try out Oreo and found this thread which had guide to update to Oreo. Decided to try it and worked

I have the Verizon variant which i had converted to Unlocked version, S-Off, modelid: 2PS650000 and CID: 22222222. I was running the LeeDriod Rom before the update, followed the below steps and worked like a charm. Have attached few screenshots as well.

Follow the below steps to update to Oreo.
1. Flash the firmware : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NK2...dZcn21gjF/view
2. Install the RUU: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617957940

Agreed. Seems like a leak from a beta tester to me.
