[Q] Random code in recovery mode

When I boot into recovery mode on my One, I get this text at the bottom of the screen:

E:missing bitmap oem_unlock_bg

Can anyone tell me what is this?

It looks like you will need to "unlock" your bootloader.

Well my bootloader is locked.

Having the same problem, but my bootloader is unlocked...
It's driving me crazy...does anyone have a suggestion? (am a complete noob looking for help )

If I flash recovery, cmd says:
downloading 'boot.img'...okay
booting...okay

Then nothing happens on the M7 - it freezes bootloader, can't move up or down or by pressing the power button, nothing happens.
Because nothing is happening, after half an hour I press volume down and power button to start up again in bootloader.
The recovery option is present, but will not load and gives me the errors in the first post of this thread.

Am I using the wrong TWRP version? (currently using twrp-2.8.6.0-m7)

please help me. I am getting the same problem in my htc desire 826 and nothing is help like Reset Factory, Reboot system now, Wipe Data/ Factory Reset, Reboot to bootloader etc. i have try everything. But its just stuck in HTC logo everytime after a logo sound.

Please help............!!!!!
