hi, several days ago my htc one (m7) fell into a frog pit (alongside with me), it still worked after that.
then the battery went down and i ended up in bootloop, but managed to start into save mode.
it wouldn't start normally and only operate in save mode. i unlocked bootload via htc dev, as i thought maybe the water killed the os or something, but didn't do anything like flashing.

here is what i've done so far:

-factory reset (4 times or so)
- clear cache/wipe
-airplane mode
-tape trick
-save mode
-other sim card, from another carrier (working)

no it starts in normal mode but wouldn't recognize my own simcard (worked the day before, happend over night).
so i went and checked if it's a simcard problem.
now it gets tricky, my old simcard worked fine in another phone and the other simcard also was accepted by my phone and worked. my own simcard is not working wtf?!
so i ordered a new card, guess what, not working, mind the other simcard i tried does work ( it's another carrier though, maybe it locked mine out? is that even possible? )

i'm out of ideas here (even tried the tape trick) maybe someone can help, otherwise i'm sending it in. it's os annoying :/
