What is the problem with Magisk 18.0, because it works fine on my P20 Pro.

I have Magisk Canary Channel active on my device, which works flawlessly.

But besides the charging LED not working, I have problems with WhatsApp notifications not showing after some time when the screen is off.

Anyone else having these issues?

I bricked my phone after flahing EMUI 9.0 and subsequently First Ever ROM build 10/12/2018 as well. My phone was booting in to stock eRecovery only. Ofcourse I was able to boot in to bootloader / fastboot mode. I booked appointment with Huawei recommened service centre. I wanted to give a last try and finally gave life to my phone. Here is the steps that took through.

Here is my post on this. https://forum.xda-developers.com/hua...8#post78416598

Magisk 18.0 was there and wanted to install itself from a zip file but the install failed every time, but after I flashed 17.3 on it, Magisk updated itself properly to v18.0. This is a great daily driver, thank you for the hard work.

It looks like the ROM is not rooted, only Magisk Manager app is installed.
You can download the latest Magisk ZIP from Magisk Manager, but you need to flash it in TWRP.
You don't need to install the previous version

The new LineageOS ROM has seemingly fixed NFC but cant get the Huawei camera app to work properly. Could look at helping eachother out to get to fix some bugs in eachothers ROMs

Yes. But no charging LED and problems with push notifications (mainly WhatsApp). No NFC of course.
