I have an issue with my Huawei P8. I used the preinstalled Huawei backup app to make an encrypted backup of my phone in my SD card before restoring it to factory settings. I copied all my SD card contents to my computer before I restored the phone. Afterwards I copied back all the original SD card contents (containing the backup) to the SD card and tried to restore them. However upon entering the backup app I see the message "No backup records found"
What can I do?
I found that If I make a simple backup of my phone and move the card contents to my computer and then back to my sd card, the same message appears. Is there any way I can solve this? Or, is there a tool so that I can unencrypt my back up directly on my pc?
