Well if i flash venom kernel for gestures will i be able to turn them on/off via gesture settings like it was in AEX4.5?
Or will i have to use kernel auditor to edit turnables?

It's better to use kernel adiutor app to toggle gestures and set them apply on boot.thats unfortunate for me

huge respect on developing this rom. i love Aosp. it is my daily driver.
i am stumped with a problem and need your help. sorry my post below is going to be huge. but i wanted to be detailed with all the (unfortunate) steps!
wanted to check out Viper-aio_otfp-20190301-Extended-v3.1.2-UNOFFICIAL and flashed it via twrp twrp-3.1.1-0-aio_otfp
did not flash Sky Hawk Recovery ( TWRP 3.2.3.0 )

took apart phone for cleaning. touch screen losing sensitivity but slowly.
flashed AospExtended-v4.6-aio_otfp-20170917-1122-OFFICIAL
phone started rebooting into twrp constantly.
factory wipe done.
still phone rebooting into twrp constantly.
advanced wipe done: formatted system, data, cache
flashed AospExtended-v4.6-aio_otfp-20170917-1122-OFFICIAL one more time.
still phone rebooting into twrp constantly.
touch screen busted completely. ordered a new one.
tried using sptools to flash stock rom Lenovo_K3_Note_S112_150610_ROW.
not possible because: phone not detected by computer at all.
have used sp tools before. all drivers, adb, vcom, etc. installed.
On plugging usb cable, phone just starts up into recovery. phone not detected by computer at all.

now flashed stock recovery via twrp.
when powered on: phone starts and stays on the lenovo - powered by android screen, not lenovo recovery

i don't know if i'm the only one with this problem, but my sim card connects and disconnects after some time, and it keep repeting this process

I really cannot thank you and devs like you enough for keeping this phone alive. Huge respect to you.
my phone still works great after all these years. i have used all the roms/ updates you created (posted above) and now your AospExtended-v4.7 Jan 3, 2021 update.
i use the rom directly without magisk.
i have a few observations to share.
1. i use the english (india) language for the setup. after starting for the 1st time, the sd card setup message shows a language string thats not english. (i think it is to select to keep as internal or portable storage.. something)
2. the performance control app simply shuts down in a fraction of a second after opening. i dont know what this app is since i have never seen it open.
3. in the memory wiper app, the max block size dropdown is also in a different language... but it is not that important.
4. the reboot app gives an error - unable to gain root privileges... but again this is because of me.
5. the google play store is version 20.4.13-all 313854362 tapping the version says a new ver will be downloaded but it never does. it stays the same.
6. every single app i've downloaded downloads itself twice... this is a headache. it will download to a 100%, go back to 0 or 3% or 10% and redownload... and then it will install. this HAPPENS EVERYTIME.
7. if you remove the battery (after shutting the phone nicely or even in the middle) and then start the phone... immediately or after some time, the sim will not register with the network. the apns shows no entry. i HAVE TO restart the phone using the restart option in power menu and ONLY THEN will the sim register with the network.
8. And the last problem... which is a real problem for me... please find a solution to this... is that double tap to wake DOES NOT WORK. i have to press the power button to wake the phone.
i was forced to use the stock rom with all its outdated apps and bloatware just because double tap to wake did not work.
its works perfectly fine in the stock rom... so i don't think the sensor is a problem.
it actually stopped working with aosp ver 4.6 rom much before you made your roms...
the last versions of ver 4.6 also presented a strange problem... blank screen when receiving a call.
i hope you can fix this double tap to wake feature... points 1 to 7 are really not that important.
