Tate refers to 7" 2nd gen devices, not 1st gen which are designated "Otter".

Tate is 1st gen HD, not 1st gen Fire, see the difference?

It was the first KFHD7, otter was original Kindle fire(non HD).

The 7th gen only has root available, no custom ROMs, I believe.

The only 7th gen device that can be rooted is the HD 10. HD 8 and classic 7" Fire can not be rooted at present.

patched libandroidfw.so

It seems recent google play version brakes this rom
All worked fine until these days. Now, sometimes trebuchet crashes in fast loop. When it happens, the device is unusable. The boot is very slow because theses crashes, if you wait few minutes, the crashes loop stops without apparent reason and you can use the device. I have attached crashes files to my message.
Other cyanogenmod users are affected, see here :

Need to patch libandroidfw.so file as described in the following post:
https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=77526220&postcount=13

Or just flash attached zip I patched already. Then update to newest version of your apps with no problems.:good:

"An error" doesn't tell us anything without telling exactly what error you are getting.

The Netflix app you're installing might not be compatible with your hardware or your region. Try finding a version of the Netflix app that is compatible with your hardware and your region.

I removed the dust from my kindle fire hd .
I tested the patch and it works fine (an update of the latest X-plore was trashing again my kindle).
