Fast charging does not work to charge the battery from 20% to full and it takes 3 hours. Is it the same to you?
I say I'm using the original charger.

Probably an issue with your cable or something, try rebooting and plugging it in again, I've never had it charge that slowly. Also, on a side note, I don't recommend using the fast charge feature, there's a risk that your battery can explode (even on stock), and it shortens the lifespan of your phone, I personally use a third party charger that charges at a reasonable speed

If you're on Oreo don't report bugs, if you're on nougat I'm guessing you installed Xposed, or didn't do a proper clean flash, or modified something

Does this phone have distorted sound during phone calls when you enable the speakers? I am looking for a ROM that does not suffer from this bug. Thank you.

    AICP
    Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LAOS team, if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.

It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

    How to flash:

(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)

Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
    Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
    Flash ROM Zipfile
Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional), I personnaly recommend magisk
    Reboot to system

The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!

    Supported root solutions:

    Magisk v13.x

SuperSU - stable and beta available (Site by CCMT that took over the the marketing from chainfire)
SuperSU - direct download link for the latest SuperSU directly from the dev (chainfire)

Lineage SU-addon (check your needed version: 14.1 arm or arm64) -> the removal zip is available here too.

    KERNEL:
The kernel in this ROM follows Omni source with many additions/changes

    PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app that needs TWRP recovery installed to work.
You can still use LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved in the "AICP_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

And sO it begins, I will hopefully release an (super beta) build on Sunday https://github.com/AICP/platform_manifest/tree/o8.0 no guarantees though, it all depends on how busy I am on Sunday

And yes, we'll still have official Nougat releases for awhile

The new official build is up
    Changes,
    1. Everything from my last test build:
Updated gps from Omni (gets a lock much much faster now)

Added the mobile payments fix from Lineage

Fixed an selinux denial (they just keep popping up...)

All the features that were removed when we went rootless are back, and are in their own section in aicp extras

    This includes BlackScreen 2.4.5

    2. The root extras section of aicp extras was improved
    3. Switched to blu_active as the default cpu governor, this will make things much smoother

This is a work in progress guide to getting great battery life
Note: This guide is meant to be used on my kernel, there's several optimizations that I've left out of this guide because I enabled them by default in my kernel

    1. Underclock the big cores to 1900mhz
    2. Set the GPU governor to simple_ondemand
    3. Set the vibration strength to zero (or close to zero) in the misc section
    4. Set the default I/O scheduler to noop
    5. Go to developer options and turn off the logger buffer sizes (you will have to turn this back on in order to get a logcat for bug reports, and to pass safety net)

    6. Use greenify to enable aggressive doze and doze on the go, and use it to limit background apps

    7. If you underclock the big cores even more in kernel adiutor you'll get much better battery life, you'll also get much better battery life if you underclock the little cores to 1440MHz

    8. Turn off all animations in developer options
    9. In kernel adiutor set the low memory killer values to the aggressive setting
    10. Disable fsync (risky, you could lose data if the system crashes)

    11. Use the suspend actions in aicp extras and turn off the ota checker
    12. Use privacy guard, and the wakelock blocker in aicp extras/system extensions to block wakelocks

    13. In aicp extras/ various ****, enable sensors block per package

    14. Turn off WiFi before turning off the device, otherwise it will have issues going into deep sleep

    7. Set the CPU governor to wheatley

Since we all love status updates: I have not forgotten Oreo, I'm currently trying to get the camera working, I know codeworkx and the x2 devs have it working but either they're leaving something out or their fix isn't working for me for some reason, so I'm trying to sort that out, I have many major improvements for the next Oreo build, just want to get the camera working first
